Who You Are...

As MIS Analyst II, you are directly responsible for providing support and maintenance across the organization to Limbach's existing Management Information Systems (MIS). The ideal candidate for this position is highly motivated, has a strong work ethic, is innovative, and is committed to excellence. This role is primarily able to function remotely, but preferred candidates reside in the Greater Tampa area.

This Position...

Some examples of the work you might do includes:

  • Executes support and maintenance tasks for existing Management Information Systems.
  • Assists and provides support during Software Migrations (acquisitions) or Implementations (new software purchases)
  • Develops and modifies instructional documentation for end users to reference regarding the Company's internal business systems processes.
  • Develops and modifies testing procedures for software process changes in the business systems
  • Extends strong reporting and analytical information support to the business management teams.
  • Analyzes unique customer problems and devises appropriate technical solutions.
  • Provides customer support and assistance in issue troubleshooting and resolution.
  • Advocates for new technology, concepts, and approaches with the business stakeholders to drive innovation and technological advancement.
  • Ensures continuing operational quality by prioritizing system bug fixes, testing and releasing updates.
  • Partners with internal customers to identify desired results and works to implement improvements through process change, technology and training with respect to Vista and other related systems.

What You Need...

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or MIS-related field, AND 2 + years of relevant, job-related experience and OR 4+ years of relevant, job-related experience in the construction industry (without a degree).
  • Strong analytical and validation skills.
  • Must be organized, attentive to detail, and an effective communicator.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace products.
  • Proficient in Viewpoint Suite Products (VIsta by Viewpoint, Vista Web).
  • Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers/internal customers.
  • Ability to work with deadlines independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with Construction Specific business systems.
  • Application support.

Work Environment:

  • This position operates primarily in an office environment and routinely utilizes standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, and printers.

Physical Demands:

  • In performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to talk, hear, perform the repetitive motion, and possess an appropriate degree of visual acuity and manual dexterity.
  • This is considered a sedentary position, which means occasionally exerting up to ten (10) pounds of force, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
