WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

We are looking for a Benefits Analyst to provide operational and administrative support for the Company's Health & Welfare and Wellbeing programs in accordance with plan documents and provisions and overall company policies and procedures. This role will have opportunities to get involved with designing and executing innovative employee wellbeing initiatives and events. You will interact with employees, payroll, human resources, finance, as well as all other benefit service providers supporting L'Oreal benefit plans.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing administration of the Company's Health & Welfare Plans including medical, prescription, executive physical, spending accounts, vision, dental, wellbeing, fitness, life and disability and family building programs
  • 6055 Reporting/1095-C data.
  • 5500 data checks.
  • W-2 Reporting.
  • DCFSA NDT Testing.
  • Country and Audit reporting.
  • Benefit Reconciliation.
  • Additional reporting needs as assigned.
  • Tracking and aggregating benefit expenses (self-insured claims, fees, insured premiums) and reconciling with finance reporting.
  • Work with third-party vendors and internal employee service center (BEST HR team) to resolve escalated issues from employees or Human Resources Business Partners, including managing formal employee appeals process.
  • Supporting acquisition activity related to health & welfare plan integration.
  • Identifying areas for process improvement

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Required Qualifications

  • Have strong financial and benefit data analytics and problem-solving abilities
  • Can maintain complete confidentiality of employee records.
  • Possess a college degree in a related field (human resources, finance, etc.)
  • Have 3+ years of experience in a benefits-related function with experience in healthcare insurance and/or medical claims preferred.
  • Be comfortable with facilitating employee meetings and presenting benefits content, both virtually and in-person.
  • Exhibit a professional attitude with a sense of urgency in completing tasks.
  • Be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Have proficiency (advanced capability) in Microsoft Office Suite of products. Specifically, Excel (VLOOKUPs, macros, pivot tables), PowerPoint (animations, embedding, Master slide management), Word, and Outlook.
