Job Overview

The incumbentsupports the Operations and Maintenance control systems at MacDill AFB.


Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

  • Manages control systems aspects of O&M activities: HVAC; controls, lighting, power systems, fire controls, utility AMRS system and water systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Mandatory:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical or electronic engineering from a program certified by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
  • Must have expertise in advanced process control (APC), distributed control systems (DCS), programmable logic controllers (PLC) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA).
  • At least seven years' experience on CS aspects of O&M activities HVAC, controls, lighting, power systems, fire controls, utility AMRS system and water systems.
  • Must be IAM Level 2 certified.
  • A minimum of one year of experience performing facility assessments and Real Property Installed Equipment (RPIE) condition assessments and have at least one year of experience working with data from geospatial databases.
  • At least three years of experience working in a military environment and familiarity with Air Force Civil Engineering guidance, rules, and regulations.
  • Must have knowledge of construction management software, project closeout procedures, preventive maintenance, construction and repair terminology and processes.
  • Secret Security clearance.
  • Ability to acquire and maintain government identification/common access card.
  • Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations.
  • Valid state Driver's License with acceptable driving record pertinent to the position.
  • Ability to successfully pass any background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain access to U.S. Government Installations through the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS).
