Job Description

C14 - SVP - Oversight Forum Support

As part of the CAO's Global Business Risk and Controls organization, the Oversight Forum Support role will be part of the Oversight Forum team supporting the centralization, standardization and process improvement for MRAs and Other Regulatory matters. The Oversight Forum Support will drive the development and enhancement of the MRA Oversight Function ("MRAOF") processes to assist the MRAOF and other stakeholders in identifying, monitoring and evaluating potential risks and progress against established objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-the-ground support to the Oversight Forum Lead and the Plan Program Manager to help execute the planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running the MRA Oversight function
  • Develop and present findings and engage with stakeholders to support data driven insights and decision-making
  • Provide key inputs into operational and qualitative reporting to provide stakeholders with consistent insights into regulatory matters and operational progress
  • Identify and analyze various sources of information to develop a comprehensive approach to identifying and agreeing risk and cross-enterprise dependencies as new and/or significant regulatory oversight, governance and/or business-driven decisions are made
  • Build and manage relationships with a wide range of senior bank and risk management colleagues, as well as external stakeholders such as regulators / auditors
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
  • Provide support on other key initiatives and requirements to deliver regulatory transformational change at Citibank

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
  • 10 + years of experience
  • Understanding of relevant banking regulation and supervisory expectations for large complex financial institutions
  • Adaptable, flexible, and able to respond to changes in priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to operate with limited level of direct supervision
  • Effective communicator, both orally and in writing and ability to present findings to senior management, regulators and stakeholders using data to tell a story
  • Project management knowledge and experience working with diverse group of stakeholders to achieve milestones and deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with evidence of working in collaboration across large organizations, including a proactive and 'no surprises' approach in communicating issues/requests
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in driving positive and sustained change

Preferred:

  • 5+ years of experience in the regulatory landscape facing global banks. Ideally, have worked in regulators institutions
  • Proficiency in working in iCAPs/Citi's Risk and Control platform.
