Job Description

The Risk Chief of Staff is looking for a Senior Project Lead to manage and drive the execution of major deliverables and people strategy initiatives, as well as coordinate various management and governance routines such as strategic off-sites, management meetings and ad-hoc projects, as needed, across the Risk organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships and work closely with Risk segment CAO/COO teams and HR advisors to advance and drive forward major deliverables including the Risk People Strategy and VOE initiatives.
  • Coordinate timely and high-quality delivery of commitments such as strategic off-sites, materials for management and board committees, consent order deliverables, among others.
  • Partner with HR to support organizational design work across Risk, which includes managing the Risk Organizational Design Council, performing horizontal reviews and assisting with the implementation of best practices and guidelines focused on ensuring alignment across the organization and consistent leveling of roles with similar scope, breadth, depth, etc.
  • Support the development, buildout and monitoring of Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and Risk Executive Management Council (RMEC) priorities and goals.
  • Support management routines including building agendas, coordinating with subject matter experts, creating and distributing materials, and tracking follow-ups to ensure smooth execution.
  • Support and provide guidance to teams on content creation for presentations on key Risk initiatives, strategy, and execution, including effective monitoring and communication of progress.
  • Manage tasks associated with the planning, directing, coordinating and delivering of day-to-day activities in support of the CRO and Risk CAO.
  • Appropriately assess risk when decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • Manage ad hoc projects and miscellaneous administrative matters as needed.

  • Experience interacting at senior levels and demonstrating solid delivery against commitments.
  • Excellent facilitation and communications skills as well as exceptional collaboration and influence skills across all levels of the organization
  • Self-starter, resourceful with exceptional presentation skills including clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Strong data and analytical skills with experience in problem solving and using informed judgement and analysis.
  • Demonstrate a culture of one team, solution-focus, trust, and people-first.
  • Positive attitude, accessible and willingness/ability to pick up work quickly when and where needed.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in financial services
  • Experience working in global and complex settings with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work in a team of diverse skill sets and cultures.
  • Proven ability to work in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
  • Master's degree preferred.
