As a Navy Multiband Terminal (NMT) Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will:

A week in the life of a Navy Multiband Terminal (NMT) Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will:

• Demonstrate extensive experience with each of the following:
• Physical and function level experience with all variants of NMT
• Diagnostic and troubleshooting functions
• Current NMT variants and their installations
• Current SW variants loading procedures and management
• Use of test equipment for troubleshooting
• Technical documentation and troubleshooting aids
• End-to-end architecture
• Mentoring and/or training junior engineers/technicians.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $71,000 - $88,000 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law. • Have Technical Training in a relevant Technical/Engineering Field, or Formal electronics training from: Technical School, and/or Class A/B/C military school in electronics and/or communications and/or OEM NMT system specific training.
• General Experience: Minimum of eight (8) years of hands-on experience with SATCOM Communication Systems listed in Section 1.1 of the PWS. S
• Minimum of six (6) years of hands-on experience with NMT systems.
• Active Secret Security Clearance
