Specific skills desired: Seeking responsible and reliable students to assist in maintaining and enhancing the service oriented, information/technology rich Learning Resources Department. Communication with students will be a combination of face to face and online interactions.
Notes: Must have the ability to communicate effectively with students and staff in the Learning Support Commons while maintaining a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
This position is for tutoring in Accounting. The candidate must have completed Financial and Managerial Accounting with a grade of "A" or instructor recommendation. Completion of Economics courses (Microeconomics, Macroeconomics) or higher level Accounting courses (Financial Management) is preferred but not necessary. Customer service experience and a strong knowledge of MyCourses are a plus.
Desired Work Schedule: Flexible with student schedule. Monday - Saturday: 10-15 hours per week depending on
eligibility.
