Responsibilities

  • Performs audits of programmatic procedures to ensure quality and compliance with policies and procedures and develops reports as requested by Executive Leadership.
  • Works directly with Director of Policy and Compliance, Program Directors, and Service Directors to facilitate process improvement and document new procedural requirements for evolving processes and procedures.
  • Assist in ensuring policies and procedures are accurate, current, and in compliance with respective ORR contract, grants, and state regulations.
  • Assist with writing all policies and procedures, corrective action plans, and if applicable assist in deployment infrastructure plans and after-action plans.
  • Assists in ensuring contractual compliance with all reporting requirements as stipulated within each grant, contract and within policies and procedures.
  • Assists in coordination of programmatic elements of the services provided to the UAC served.
  • Assists in developing and updating manuals for each departmental component of residential programs.
  • Assists and supports coordination of programmatic elements.
  • Assist in collection of data for monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
  • Assists in reporting requirements of the Statement of Work (programmatic and financial reports).
  • Provide residential programs with updated guidance from ORR and other regulatory entities.
  • May assist with regulatory and compliance trainings.
  • May assist in the preparation of packets for new residential programs and contracts facilities as needed.
  • May assist in organizing and running Unit Quality Counsel to ensure best practices are identified and propagated through the residential programs.
  • Assist in coordinating and implementing policy review boards for final review and client approval.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in, social work, psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science:
  • Or at least 3 years of progressive employment experience with a social services or childcare agency organization.
  • One (1) year of supervisory experience.
  • Able to work overtime and be on call.
  • Flexible hours organized and efficient work schedule and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Able to follow technical instructions and written communication.
  • Proficient with computers and common office equipment as well as Microsoft Office products.
  • Clean criminal background check
  • Clean child abuse and neglect or child protective services check (CAN). Cleared background check from appropriate entity.
  • Cleared drug test results.
  • Cleared Tuberculosis test results.
  • Able to evacuate at short notice to accompany residents possibly to a different city for several days at a time.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (read, write, and speak)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science.
  • Five (5) years of experience in either quality assurance or another field related to the implementation and monitoring of programmatic compliance to licensing, accreditation and or policies.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Ability to ascend/descend stairs.
  • Ability to lift up to 15lbs.
  • Able to withstand changing environmental conditions with weather (rain, lightning, extreme heat, and winds).
  • Able to withstand and manipulate through construction areas, sports fields, etc.
  • Use of manual dexterity, tactile, visual, and audio acuity.
  • Ability to stand, particularly for a long period of time and bend, or stoop, as necessary.
  • Must be prepared and physically able to respond with appropriate protocol in a variety of dynamic supervision situations with clients of 0-17 years in age.
  • In a sudden or emergency event, staff must at all times be physically able to run, jump, lunge, twist, push, pull, apply approved techniques, and otherwise manage or coerce the full weight of an infant or adolescent.
  • Able to communicate verbally and listen for constant surveillance of staff activities.
